Sandwell Care Services
The Sandwell care services offer a range between packages of care, the goal is to find the right package of care to cater financially to each service user.
It is good to keep in mind that if a service user holds less than £23250 in savings, there may be government help for you, towards your package of care. If you would like more help with this please do contact your local council in their adult care department.
Private package of care
The funding towards a package of care can be a stressful topic for many. The private rates are very competitive for each area. It is with every intention to make rates affordable so that a higher volume of communicates can still be offered the care that they deserve. Everyone’s financial circumstances are different but it is important that the team are doing their best to cater to most if not all communities.
Short term package of care
A short term package of care can be organised from the local authority and care provider and will usually be desired for only 6 weeks to help encourage independence on a reablement plan. At the 6 week review your social worker will then arrange an assessment with you to decide whether a long term package of care will be beneficial.
Domestic package of care
If you are looking for a package of care for domestic purpose, this can be covered in some packages that are local authority funded or privately funded.
